I am sharing this because I worked on it for a long time Click the flag twice. I'm really sorry if the blood in the thumbnail upsets you! Just don't press the stop button or look at it up close inside and you should be fine. And i'm also sorry that the art on the cats is old, but I was too lazy to redraw all those sprites so I just drew all these in my old style. Left and right arrow keys to move; click on the holes or entryways to enter another den. Click on cats to talk to them, you'll know which den you're in by looking at and talking to the cats there. The white cat that talks to you when the game begins is your mother, Blueeyes. The senior warrior in the warrior's den (peach-ish colored fur, brown stripes, dark green eyes) is your father, Raggedstripe. When somebody asks you something, please use proper grammar or it won't work. You could also look inside to see what you can say. At night or dusk, you can click on your mother to sleep the night. Before asking a question, check if it's below, then check if it has already been answered in the comment section. If it is neither of those then ask away. Questions You May Have: Q: Does the game follow a storyline or do I create my own adventure? A: The game follows a specific storyline. (Spoilers Ahead) Q: Can I become a warrior, then have a mate and kits? A: No, due to the story you never make it past kithood. Q: Can I avoid my death? A: No, there's no way around it. Q: Can I name myself? A: No. Depending on which pelt you get( white like your mother, or brown w/ stripes like your father ), you can receive 1 of 2 names: Foxkit or Chalkkit. Q: Do I get to pick my gender? A: Yes. Your mother states that she is too old to see you and asks whether you are a she-cat or a tom. ( Note - If you say she-cat you must include the dash or it won't work; your mother will give you a second chance to spell it correctly but if you spell incorrectly a second time then you will be labeled with no gender.) Q: When the grey cat in the elders' den asks me about which story I want to hear, what can I say to make her tell the story I want? A: Look inside to see the script. I will leave a note telling you what to say. Q: Can I take a nap? A:Yes, you can take a nap once every day. Since there isn't much to do besides explore the game on the first day, this is quite helpful. However, you cannot take a nap at dawn. Q: If I take a nap, can I still sleep at night? A: Yes, you can still sleep at night if you take a nap. Q: When my mom asks my gender, clicking on the box makes it so i can't type! Help? A: Restart the game. If I didn't cover your question, ask me in the comments. Depending on what you're asking, I'll add your question to the instructions. I'm not really a big fan anymore like I used to be, but again, this is great practice.
