Glory was many things. A fool was not one of them. And to say she was lazy was a bald faced lie. She loved her siblings, and knew they loved her. But unlike them with their big shiny destiny, she was... expandable. Worthless. The replacement for a long dead dragon who never hatched. And while Webs seemed to like her well enough, Kestrel hated her, and Dune was indifferent, which was almost worse. She wasn't safe here. And she was a threat to her siblings as well. After all the best way to threaten the Dragonets of Destiny into doing something would be to threaten one of them, and it was logical to target the expandable Rainwing rather than one of the ones that actually mattered. Which meant that she needed to leave, both for her own safety and the peace of the world. She didn't tell her siblings. Tsunami would get upset and it would break Sunny's and Clay's hearts. Starflight would try to talk her out of it (and might succeed). No it was better to do this alone. (She briefly pondered escaping with them, but quickly discarded the idea. The Dragonets of Destiny were a target in the way a lone Rainwing was not.) And so she escaped. Turning invisible and sneaking out one morning when Webs left to get them new scrolls. It was... easier than she expected. Glory flew south, keeping invisible as much as possible and avoiding any settlements. She startled some Scavengers once, and they disappeared quickly into the undergrowth. On the edge of the swamp she listened to the Mudwings whispering about a monster in the rainforest. She hoped that perhaps this meant the Rainwings were more dangerous than the stories had suggested. She was disappointed. Her tribe was as lazy as the stories had all said. She wandered around the Rain Forest for a bit. Finding a few Rainwings that weren't quite as disappointing as the rest. But it wasn't enough. And when she found a mysterious tunnel that led to the Queendom of Sand.... She did not return to the Rainforest. Glory may not have had a big glorious destiny like her siblings. But that was okay. She would just make her own. Rumors of an invisible poison spitting Dragon began to circulate around the Desert. Thorn is...intrigued. So when the rumors place the mysterious Dragon somewhere near the Scorpion Den, Thorn goes to meet her. Glory has been targeting Blister's and Burn's forces. There were plenty of Dragons on both sides that had... iffy morals. Unfortunately both Blister and Burn had a bad habit of promoting those Dragons to positions where they could do even more damage. However, no matter how many corrupt generals she killed, more always rose up. Thorn was impressed. She had met Rainwings before (long ago on a fruitless quest through a magic tunnel, when she still hoped to find her love. Before she gave up. Before she had other things to worry about. Like her city, and her precious Beetle.) This one was different, this one had determination and morals and sarcasm. (As well as Invisibility and Venom) Glory was surprised when the random Sandwing showed up to offer her a job. Surprised and suspicious. But it was worth a try, she could always just leave if she wanted. Glory did not leave, Thorn got a Invisible Venom spitting dragon on her side. Qibli and Ostrich got a big sister.
Glory Liked being part of the Outclaws. She still missed her siblings, but they were safer without her. and she was safer here. The Outclaws did not see her as lazy or stupid. they thought she was cool, and awesome, and dangerous. Thorn was a good leader, (Glory secretly thought that Thorn was a good mom) And Qibli and Ostrich reminded her of her siblings. Six-Claws taught her fighting, and Kindle tried to teach her healing. though Glory didn't care much after she learned the basics. Parch and Tawny joked with her and taught her to cheat while playing... well, every game really. It was nice to be wanted, no important destiny or big heroic prophecy needed. Everything was nice, life was good, Glory was happy. Until.... {pick one} Heart for -> Her Siblings/Sunny showed up in the Scorpion Den Star for ->She mentioned her siblings to Thorn, including the fact that she had a 'strange Sandwing' sister born on the brightest night
