The Runner or Levi is running from the A.X.I.S. or the Alien Xenon Interrogation Society. The aliens seeking Levi/Runner out. The Runner/Levi was a member of a race of aliens who had discovered a way to control humans with the use of their technology, which they called the "Arcane" and Levi is the one who is chosen to lead. The AXIS or A.X.I.S. was formed in response to the discovery of alien technology and was created to stop the aliens from using it. They were formed as a group of human scientists and engineers. Their mission was to study the alien technology. Levi is their enemy, and now AXIS are flooding him out from his safe haven, he has a ship but will need to get out the door first to fly away to his bunker which has been a long time deserted nuke bunker. Also one year ago he learned that the AXIS is just an inanimate object that manipulates people.
