"I know the Opera better than I know myself... Each passageway, every floorboard is under /my/ control. I will not allow anyone to leave, not unless they are able to stand against the challenge." "Good... Then it will all go according to plan." Setting of Round 9 ~The Voice of the Opera~ For as long as anyone can remember, the abandoned opera house has remained closed down, the dark, shadowy remains of a terrible accident that happened long ago. One day, however, a few selected people are invited to go to the Opera's grand opening, and, since no one knows what really happened there, they all accept, prepared to look at a few broken-down pieces of furniture and then leave again. However, the doors bar themselves shut as soon as they all enter, resisting any attempts to open them, and, although the Opera seems completely empty, the unnerving but beautiful sound of a woman singing echoes in its walls. It soon becomes clear that the only way to escape the Opera house is to figure out the ki|ler lurking in the midst of the innocent people and get rid of them forever, but it could be harder than they thought... And what is the true story behind the Voice, the apparent mastermind who manipulates the Opera according to her will? (See more below in the Background Character section) (Yep, massive inspo from Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera)
~Background Character Bio~ (Still working on it, here's a quick overview) ~Corinne Leándre~ Rumor has it that this woman started the accident that caused the Opera to shut down long ago, and now she has taken complete control of it, her twisted brilliance allowing her to move between the walls, seemingly like a ghost. When she sang for the Opera, she was known as the Angelic Voice, because of the startling, heart-wrenching quality of her penetrating songs, but now she is known simply as the Voice, and it's obvious that her genius has taken a dark turn. Because of the accident that happened several years ago, she now wears a mask over the upper half of her face, never taking it off. Although she is perhaps in league with another person, the Voice seems vengeful enough to have started this on her own...
