As the guards rushed around the group, Moon stared in horror at the stranger in front of him. “W-Who are you? What do you want from me?” The man laughed and glared at George. “Quiet the move there, Gogy… Dream told me you’d act like this.” The man grinned. George stared in horror at him. “D-Dreams dead…” Moon stepped back in front of George when the man took a step forward. “No George. He isn’t. We have him in a safe house far from here… so unless you want him back, give us Moon.” George looked at Moon then back at the man. “Why do you want him so bad?” He asked sternly. They laughed. “Check your records, George. You’ll find out why.” He turned around and slipped his hood on, which now had a huge hole in the back of it. Moon's breathing was shaky. George yelled at the guard to track down the Serpents. Moon's breathing started to get labored and he started to feel dizzy. “George…” He slurred and then fell onto the ground, face first. The man smirked as he ran out of the Kingdom and into the trees. A few hours later Moon found himself on George's bed, with a very worried King George sitting beside him, his knees bouncing up and down very quickly. Moon tried to sit up and George's head popped up. “No, no. Lay back. You need rest, Moon.” Moon propped himself up with his elbows. “Wh-what happened?” The guard beside George stepped forward. “The mask assailant poisoned you with a toxin.” He said, blankly and then took a step back to his place. “We are trying to find whoever did this to you, Moon.” George sat down on the bed beside him. Moon sighed. “So this man came into your Kingdom and threatened you and poisoned me to get to you?” George sighed. “Basically.” Moon sighed and leaned back onto the pillow. “Stupid.” He muttered to himself. George looked at Moon. “Its not stupid! Your actions were stupid! You were being reckless attacking that man! You can't do that to me!” He stopped himself at the cheesiness of his choice of words. The men looked at each other, the guard surprised. Moon looked at George, George looked at Moon, the guard looked at them both. “Do I-?” “Yes.” George said. “Out.” He said sternly. The guard nodded and walked out quickly. Moon blushed softly. “Wh-what did you mean?” He stammered. George looked away, his ear reddening slightly. “I mean what I said.” He said softly. Moon propped himself up on his elbows again, looking at George. “George. What did you mean by it?” He asked softly. George took a deep breath and looked at Moon. “I mean don't do that to me. Ever.” “But why?” “Because… I…” George looked at Moon. “Oh.” Moon said. “Oh…” He said more softly, blushing. George hid his face in his hands. ‘God, I'm such an idiot!’ He thought. He suddenly felt a hand cup his chin and tilt his head up. He looked into Moon's vibrant orange eyes. He got the urge to run away, call a guard, but he wanted to see where this would go… Moon smiled softly, something George never really saw often. George studied his face, guessing Moon was doing that same. “Y-you need to lay d-down..” George whispered. “You're changing the subject, Gogy.” Moon whispered back. George blushed slightly. “Don't call me that..” Moon smirked slightly. “Never.” He bent down and kissed George.
