oh- I won? Backstory time! ___________________________________________________ The young witch and her pet snake lived among the shadows in hopes of not getting caught. Everyday the two roamed the streets and ventured deep into forests, but all that changed once a rumor about witches started to spread. At first, they didn’t think much about it, but as time went on, people grew suspicious. Soon enough, they were found and cornered. They were barely able to escape the first time, but the next time, they weren’t so lucky. The young witch struggled to free herself but it was no use, as she got propped onto the stake, she told her snake to venture as war away as it could or else it would get burned as well. As the snake had slithered away, it looked back and saw a bright flicker of light. At first, it was just a flicker but it spread like a wildfire and sure enough, the young witch got burned as quickly as she had gotten caught. From then on, the snake ventured alone, trying to forget about what had happened to its owner.
