Why on earth did I try to animate this?? I am terrible at animating (or at least on scratch). I might just scrap that part and just keep the finished frames. ------- This was drawn on scratch. ------- I also hope I am doing this right; this is the first time I have entered for one of these.

The long, winding roads twist between the mighty trees like a huge snake, and little moonlight filters through the shadowy canopy. Wolves and worse prowl through the undergrowth, eyes flashing crimson as they stalk weary travelers. There are many stories of travelers lost after dark who encountered a strange figure with a lantern. The feline would lead them along a new trail that seemed to open around them, and they would soon find shelter in a warm, copse of aspen or a gentle cove buried in the hillside. As they drift off to sleep, the guide’s softly glowing silhouette stands guard against the watching eyes. Come morning, he’s gone, and their path reappears as if by magic, leaving them to wonder, was he ever really there…?
