~ Lavendel's POV ~ She Suddenly Saw The Elk Herd Go Uneasy, Their Target. "Come On, Agrio." She Whispered Under Her Breath, Eyeing Where He Was, Waiting For The Moment He Darted Out, Waiting For The Moment The Elk Ran Towards Her, Waiting For The Moment Agrio Would Grasp It And Take It Down.. She Suddenly Had Doubts, Not About Agrio, But Herself. Admittedly, She Had Never Been The Best Hunter. Why Had She Suggested This? She Had Just Wanted Some Company, And It Was The Only Thing She Could Think Of To Get Out Of The Awkward Situation. And How Did She Not Recognize One Of Her Own Pack Members? She Growled At Herself Gently, Careful Not To Alert The Elk Further. She Breathed In. All She Could Do Right Now Was Wait Until The Elk Came Towards Her. If She Messed This Up, They Wouldn't Eat. The Elk Would Run Away. It Was Weak- It Should Be Easy Right? She Clenched Her Jaw, Stiffening As She Thought Of All The Possible Outcomes. She Scolded Herself Again As Soon As She Snapped Back To Reality. It Was Just One Simple, Weak Elk. Wolves Took Down Prey All The Time, Right? She Was Overthinking. Again. Just Like Always. She Straightened Herself Into A More Proper Crouch, Eyes Fixated On The Elk Ahead Of Her, And Where Agrio Was Hiding. ~ Agrio's POV ~ He was going to mess this up. It was going to be all his fault. It would all go horribly wrong. Agrio had seen the elk. They had started to notice them. He was going to come out at the wrong time. He was going to come out too soon. He was going to come out too late. Well, something had to happen he guessed. Agrio raced out. ~ Lavendel's POV ~ Laven Waited, Then Realized Agrio Had Raced Out. Out Of Panic, The Elk Did Not Hear Or Smell The Wolf In Front Of It, And When It Was Near, She Darted Out, Sending The Elk Panicking. She Stayed In It's Path, Racing Back And Forth To Herd The Elk. The Elk Was [insert elk noise here], Panicking. ~ Agrio's POV ~ Agrio tried to do whatever he could. He hoped he wasn't messing things up too much. He tried to do teamwork effectively. He tried so hard. Maybe not hard enough. He tried to mimic what Laven was doing, but he wasn't used to hunting with others. Everything was going to go wrong, everyone would hate him, this was a mistake, why did he agree to something that had to do with teamwork, it was always his fault. ~ Lavendel's POV ~ Laven Realized That Agrio Was Herding It Like Her- She Caught His Eye For A Moment- A Nervous Look. She Looked At The Elk Again- Oh No. Would She Have To Attempt Killing It? She Was Horrible At That. But.. Here Goes Nothing. She Rushed Towards The Elk. It Kicked Outwards, But She Narrowly Avoided It, And In That Moment Of It's Leg's Coming Down From The Kick, She Took That To Her Advantage. However- She Tripped. She. Tripped. Over Her Own 2 Paws. The Elk, Now Having A Way To Escape, Darted Away. She Lay There. She Wasn't Injured- Her Fur Was Dusty, And She Just Laid There For A Moment. Then, She Pushed Herself Up. Tears Formed In Her Eyes. She Looked At Agrio. "I-" ~ Agrio's POV ~ " I'm sorry!" He cut her off. Agrio really didn't cry. Sometimes he wished he did. It would be easier to explain emotions if he did. He came off as not really caring as much as he did. Sometimes he wished mind readers existed, maybe then someone would understand him, but not really, because if they did they would probably hate him. Would he have to leave the pack? Would he have to apologize to Oscura? Why did he agree to do this? He was going to be in so much trouble. Laven would probably hate him now. She was probably going to say something that implied it was his fault. And it was. He couldn't defend himself. Agrio wished that he could turn invisible. He always wished he could. ~ Lavendel's POV ~ Laven Shook Her Head. "It Was My Fault!" She Yelped. "Not Yours." She Looked Down At Her Small Paws. "Stupid Me. Never Looking Where I'm Going!" She Whined. She Continuously Apologized, Tears Falling. Then She Locked Eye Contact With Agrio And Stopped. She Started Laughing, Quietly. ~ Agrio's POV ~ "What is it?" This was unexpected. When it was so clearly his fault, how could anyone else blame themselves? And why was she laughing? Did she realize it was his fault? Did she know something he didn't? "I-is something funny?" ~ Lavendel's POV ~ "No, No, It's Just- It's Not Often You See A Wolf Trip Over Her Own Paws During A Hunt And Starts Crying About It, While The Other Apologizes For Something They Didn't Do." Her Tears Soaked Into Her Fur. She Had Stopped Crying. "It Was Just An Elk." She Smiled. "We Shouldn't Have Gotten Worked Up. We Can Always Try Again!" Her Determination Was Back, And She Stood Up. "I Promise I'll Look Where I'm Going This Time!"
