PLEASE READ, INSTRUCTIONS ARE QUITE COMPLICATED!! If lag: https://turbowarp.org/821399098 Use WASD to point the player in the corresponding direction. You can only move in that direction, using the corresponding arrow key. For example, press D to point right, and you must press right arrow to move to the right. Press SPACE bar to shoot bombs. Press Z to use grappling hook. Collect the chests to shoot better bullets, or regenerate health. The chests with the plus sign give you health, other chests give you different types of bullets. Kill as many enemies as possible before dying. Score is the number of enemies you killed. BULLET TYPES: Default - Normal bullets, around 10 hits to kill an enemy. Two-Way - Shoots normal bullets, but in both the direction you are facing and the opposite direction. Strong - Larger bullets, around 3 hits to kill an enemy. Shotgun - Shoots smaller, weaker bullets, but in a spray of 5 bullets, around 15 hits to kill enemy, you can't bullet jump with these. Piercing - Shoots normal-sized, speedy, bullets that look like targets, but pierces through all enemies (until it hits a wall). TIPS: Practice getting used to the weird controls, learn how to jump onto higher platforms. I recommend playing as normal and just hold right arrow and D when you want to move right or tap W and up arrow when you want to move up. Or you can hold down all arrow keys at once and just use WASD, whatever suits you :) You can bullet jump. Press S to aim towards ground, and shooting bullet will launch you into the air. Use grappling hook to hook somewhere and just spam.
4500+ blocks, around 1.5 months to complete. NOTES: This game is a combination/improvement of two of my older games: One Key and Redcube Apocalypse, and although they weren't the best games, they are my most unique games, and I enjoyed making them a lot. After sharing Grassworld 2.0, I worked to try to create a Pathfinding Enemy AI for platformer games, as I always wanted to create such an enemy, but I was unable to find a good one, so I decided to make my own. I made this project in order to showcase the Pathfinding Enemy, whilst still making the project creative and enjoyable. The AI isn't perfect, a lot of times it misses its jumps, but give it time, and it will find you, no matter where you are. There may be some minor bugs. Redcube Apocalypse: One Key: CREDITS: for platforming engine, and inspiration for me to make this pathfinding AI. and , whose projects taught me to make pen platformers. for making Arena, which greatly inspired me to make this, as well as some of the sounds. for inspiration on the grappling hook mechanics.
