Heh I annotated mine a little bit. The story about me discovering my fear of butterflies: In 2nd grade, I went on a school field trip to a place that had a ton of butterflies, where you could learn all about them. As we went inside, we walked through a hallway that had a bunch of chrysalises and caterpillars in little glass terrariums. I was fine with those, since they were behind glass. But when we got into the big greenhouse-like area with the butterflies in it, I walked a few steps in, and then butterflies started flying towards me. I imagined that they had wings as big as dinner plates, but that probably wasn't the case. They were big butterflies, though. After a few minutes, I started screaming, and my chaperone, who was my friend's mom, took me to the teacher, who brought me out of the butterfly room, and into..... Can you guess where she took me? You're gonna laugh XD I would and its okay to lol. The teacher took me into the reptile hallway that the butterfly place had! I sat in there, looking at the snakes, alligators, crocodiles, and lizards, and it even had a tarantula and a scorpion. But I was fine with those. I've even held a tarantula before, recently! And I was completely fine! I also held a giant hissing cockroach once, but it didn't move, so that might've been why I was okay with it. But I have NO clue why I'm afraid of butterflies XD. If they're small, they can come within about three feet. If they're big, they can't be closer than six feet. Maybe it's something about how they're structured. They have huge, colorful wings, and a long stick-like body with skinny little legs, and a long proboscis. They also have dragonfly eyes. So maybe that's why they're creepy? I honestly don't know XD.
