It's a story of five pre-teen hybrid girls, 4 of whom had been trapped in a lab for all their lives, and the other has been living with a family of snow leopards who found her as a child. The one living in the wild was brought to the lab, to escape with only 3 others, as one of them was captured. While on their journey to find the missing one, the group finds zombie like people attempting to murder them while under the control of a super organism with the goal to infect, multiply, and kill. The group has to work together in order to find the cure and save what little is left of the world, but the one problem is, there might not be one-or one that they're willing to sacrifice for.
