Parents get divorced. She gets really good at Clarinet and Comes out to her mom who is accepting. 5. Age 13 Josephine Adams She/Her Legally changes her name. gets ears pierced. Comes out to mom as lesbian. Comes out to dad who is not accepting. Skip way ahead! 6. Josephine Berry age 30 She/Her She gets married and takes her wife's last name. She becomes a clarinet teacher and also plays clarinet professionally. She and her wife adopt a daughter and get a cat.
