Nomad II slept soundly in his bed, snoring softly, he’s suddenly woken by the sound of a window opening, and wind howling. Nomad II gets up, and walks to the living room, turning on the lights. In the dirt house was a baby fox fury, rummaging through his trash, “Chaos… that’s the 23rd time this month…” he slowly approaches the dragon fox, hand extended kindly. The dragon squeaks, and runs to him, hugging his leg. “Awwh…” he says softly, rubbing the baby dragon foxes head. He sits down, and leans against the counter, sighing calmly. Slowly Kyle steps out into the room, noticing Nomad II stroking the baby fox dragon, “thats, what? The 23rd dragon this month?” Kyle asks, sitting next to Nomad II, rubbing the baby fox dragon's back. “You bet” Nomad II huffs, purring softly as the dragon nuzzles his stomach “alright, come on” Nomad II exhales, heading towards the window. The only time anyone cut down trees was to make windows, house appliances, and a door, then they left the trees alone. The only time it’s truly cold outside is when it’s night, that’s why there are fox furies at night more often. “Alright, out you go” he says, holding the dragon out the window. Soon the baby wakes, and lifts off, flying away quickly. Nomad II smiles, watching it fly away. “Something about you and I” Kyle walks over, “we both love dragons… I wonder why” “me too” Nomad II replies, arching his back in a stretch, “we’d better get work done while it’s late” Kyle says, leaving the house, Nomad II soon to follow as he closes the door behind them, they both make their way to a well, one that glowed with harmless bioluminescentes, that don’t harm the water. Nomad II exhales, then dives in, swimming to the bottom. Not too long ago the bucket that they used to draw water came off, the rope had snapped and the bucket sunk. Well now, he’s after the bucket, and, thanks to the bioluminescentes, his germs, fur, and other icky stuff on him that could make the water undrinkable, will be gone in two days. The world and the creatures in it, have changed and formed to match the new landscape. Making even the dirtiest water, safe to drink as soon as the creatures are introduced to said water. Nomad II dives deeper into the well, his eyes start to sting and his lungs begin to ache. His body starts to feel numb in the ice cold water. Suddenly he sees the bucket, his eyes widen and he dives deeper, grabbing the bucket. He goes to swim back up but the bucket is stuck, something was grabbing it. Soon he realises it was in the clutches of a tidal/strike class dragon. A riptide fury. The dragon snarls and its eyes fly open. Nomad II panics.
