!LAG WARNING! Start at your own risk What is 3x+1? --------------------- 3x+1 is a name for a simple, yet perplexing mathematical function. The function is; chose a random number, and number. If it's even, divide it by 2, and if it's odd, multiply it by 3 and add 1. This is a simple function, but every number that mathematicians have tried, it always ends in a 4, 2, 1 loop. People have been trying to prove (or disprove) this equation for decades. What I've made is code that automatically takes a number, apply's the 3x+1 function, and if it gets stuck in the 4, 2, 1 loop, it moves onto the next number.
Instructions: Press "G" to search for a number. This only works for numbers you have solved for in the session Press "E" to solve on from the highest number solved. (Note: The "Numbers Found:" variable will display the highest number; not actually how many numbers you have solved for)
