The complete rules of chess! Note: Castling is not in this guide but, it's when you move the king 2 spaces toward a rook and move the rook next to the king near the center. You can't castle if: You're in check, you would move through check, you would land in check, your king has moved the rook you want to castle with has moved there are pieces in the way. Castling is notated as O-O for king-side castling, and O-O-O for queen-side castling.
