[SPOILERS FOR THE OWL HOUSE] Okay, I found this list of instructions on how to make a Grimwalker in the Eclipse Lake episode. Then, I noticed one of the ingredients "Selkidomus scales". In episode one of season two, Hunter said that the emperor sent him to slay a Selkidomus. This means that the emperor sent Hunter to get ingredients for his replacement.
