hello! welcome back to another article! today we're going to be discussing the Chaeyoung controversy. Did Chaeyoung leave twice? Should Chaeyoung be held accountable for not one but TWO controversial shirts she's worn? we're going to go over all of this and break it down! No h8te intended to anyone in this article! let's begin :) Recently Chaeyoung has been receiving a lot of attention lately in a fairly big controversy. Not too far apart from each other, she's been seen wearing not one, but two controversial shirts. Recently, twice went on a show to preform their new song "set me free." Chaeyoung was wearing a far-right american conspiracy theory group shirt, which can be problematic because not all people agree with these views, and this group of people have been known for some v!0l3nt/weird theories which didn't sit well with everyone. This wasn't her fault though. Her stylist dressed her in this and we have to understand that she can't chose what to wear when performing. So, i say she's off the hook for this shirt. let's talk about the next one. the one that's grasped most people's attention is the.. lets call it the WW2 symbol because otherwise i'll be in trouble. she wore a shirt with that symbol on it to a restaurant and posted pictures on her gram acc with the shirt on. should she be held accountable? in my opinion, yes. this is why: i know that korean schools dont educate their students on the germany thingy (again not saying it so i dont get terminated) but she bought that shirt herself, and we know this because she was seen wearing it in another post (the symbol wasn't showing) now, its not their fault they dont learn much about this, and i feel like its an important part of history that should be taught. im going to take a risk.. the $w@$t!k@ is a slightly different logo that has been changed up from muslim I believe temples, but I feel like she should have known at least a little about the history of this symbol and i feel like she should do research on what she buys. ESPECIALLY before posting pictures on social media. She later apologized and said she didn't properly identify the logo on the shirt. I know she probably didn't mean to do it, but I feel like she should look into what she's buying before she wears it or spends her money on it, because people will be seeing it and as a kpop star, tons of people are bound to see it, and she can't not be held accountable. for something she chose to wear. it was not her stylist, (as evidence above that she's worn in a couple times so it belongs to her.) Its also a sensitive topic to some people. Is Chaeyoung leaving twice? Rumours have been flying around that since she's been in the public eye for bad things recently she may be leaving twice. (which is sad, no one wants her to leave :( ) As of now, she hasn't left. I've been surfing the internet for articles on this topic and on one website they speculated that she will leave/be expelled from the group due to controversy, but something caught my attention in the article: it said she may have caused controversy on purpose, so she could leave the group because "she didn't like being an artist anymore and didn't want to pay the company a fine." (en.news) so some people think that she'll be kicked out, but i can't confirm that this is true. I'm not even sure I believe this though because I feel like there would be more talk about this topic, so.. don't take my word for it, or even worry about it that much. what do you think about these topics?
