This is the second major version of my flight simulator project. To fly forward, hold down the right arrow. This will make you move forward but also upwards. If you are not holding down the right arrow, you will slowly drift downwards. The up arrow allows you to climb vertically faster. The Down Arrow allows you to descend while still going fast. If you press the spacebar, it will give you a speed boost. Your goal is to get to the portal. If you fly into rocks or let your altitude get above 30, then you will start losing health.
Devlog: v1.0 (a different project) I have just started making scratch projects and I want to challenge myself by making a flight simulator. I don't know anything about how to code them but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. v1.1 Now, I have made it so the airplane explodes if it hits a rock. Great progress :) v1.2 Using a red sprite, I now made it so that if you fly too high, you also explode. v1.3 I have just added a runway at the end of all of the rocks. It doesn't do anything, yet. v2.0 For a long time, I ignored the old project, until one day, I decided to challenge myself by making a flight simulator project better than v1.3 in under an hour! I did that and it actually did turn out better than 1.3. v2.1 Using code from my currently unshared project called explosion, I added particle effects. v2.2 In this update, I have added more rocks to dodge on your journey. Still no end goal or finish. I'm sorry, but this project is too limited. I'm going to need to move on to a new version of flight simulator, version 3.0, to add anything new. Version 3.0 will be a new scratch project that will be appearing soon. PS: It's already out. (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/848114879) You might notice that that end of devlog message was very similar to the one that was released at the end of flight simulator v1.3. That's because I just copied over all of the text and just changed a few things.
