A message to all of you: The Cabin that Will Not Win has been an experiment. A learning experience and a fun (albeit sometimes rather inactive) one, too. I've learned a lot from all of you, and I would hope you've learned something from this experience too. While I can tell we've all been prioritizing real life over SWC, we've tried! We've checked in, we've communicated, we've written. We've at least took that step for ourselves. Perhaps we didn't all meet our goals this session. But let's take a moment to acknowledge what we /did/ accomplish. If you wrote anything outside of school at all this session, you should be so proud of yourself. You've written something for yourself, you've managed to intrinsically motivate yourself, and that is a remarkable feat. If you're not there yet, that's okay too. But if you really have written nothing thus far, I urge you to click off this project and go write one paragraph about what this March has been like for you. Just one paragraph. Take a little time to reflect, and then you can celebrate that too. Personally, this March has actually been one of the best months of my life outside of SWC, and the one and only session of SWC for me where SWC was not what I spent the majority of my time doing. I was still a part of it, still engaging and interacting and writing a bit, but I've been doing so much more out in the real world. I've been writing more reflective and journalistic pieces because after all of this exploration, I have realized that these mean the most to me. (This in itself is practically a reflective piece, haha.) This is a stepping off point for me — I'm leaving hosting this session. It's been beautiful, and I thank you all for that. SWC has taught me so much, and I hope I've been able to return the favor. As for what your plan of action is for after this session, that's up to you. But I implore you — /make that plan/. Take that step. And thank you so much for diving into the unknown with me this session. --- Music from Purple Planet All lettering by @Bellevue91 (feel free to use for your own purposes!)
