If u don’t knw the spop industry let me explain, the spop industry is like the K-pop industry but for scratch with companies like MN3 Entertainment, Dawn Entertainment and an old entertainment I found on @bubblegumbadgirl ‘s page called RR RECORD LABELS. Now let’s get into it. So most spop scratchers have Korean names even tho most of them aren’t even Korean, if u don’t know what is wrong with them then let me explain, trying to fake ur name and changing ur nationality isn’t ok because trying imitate their race when u clearly aren’t their race isn’t ok, u don’t knw their culture so u don’t rlly hav d rights to imitate it. I’m gonna hav a smol story time. So a long time ago like maybe a a year ago I used to be semi famous on scratch with 300-400 followers and shifted multiple times and I also used to be one of the ppl who changed my whole identity from ausie-indian to Korean to ausie-Korean to thai-korean *self embarrassment* and I used to be so insecure about my brown skin so I never used to face reveal for 300 followers I literally changed my whole life, all my friends on scratch were the same who used google images of korean ppl for face reveals. Plus it was so toxic there , (I will be talking about it later on in another episode). Let’s take a look at my korean friends opinions. ˚ ‘I personally don’t like it cuz I feel they don’t know our culture, the history behind the names and mostly a lot plus I don’t think u need to change ur race for a Korean one or any for that matter! Ur race is beautiful the way it is!’ ˚ Changing ur name and race is completely false, the internet can persuade and make u feel like complete sh1t and i totally understand, I used to change my face for a white race, it can rlly put u down make u hate ur self so I feel empathetic towards all those ppl. Now I feel that a large portion of these ppl r indians and they r kinda insecure abt it cuz a lot of my previous frndz told me dat.
