This project approximates PI by drawing a 1x1 square, within that square is a circle of radius 1. To accomplish this, "Approximator" jumps around within those boundaries(1x1), placing dots. If the dot is inside the radius of the circle, it increments "inside count", and the color of the dots follows accordingly. Finally, to calculate PI, divide the inside count by the total number of dots, then multiply by four.
