Okay, we all get this. There are like three teams, sokeefe, sofitz, and dexphie. In my personal(and many others) opinion, i think sokeefe is best. i mean, in book one, fitz is sent by alden to find this mysterious girl. K. Nothing wrong with that. But when he brings her back, he ignores her. Acts as if she doesn't exist. On the other hand Keefe senses her emotions from a mile away and decides to meet her. Be her friend. They would talk in detention, in between classes sometimes, and later on at lunch. Fitz only started hanging out with her after she beat him a splotch ball and was what everyone talked about. Keefe was always there for her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fan quotes: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @sokeefe-lover "Yes, Fitz found Sophie and brought her to the elvin world. But after Sophie moved in with Grady and Edaline and started Foxfire, she mainly began hanging out with Marella (my queen) and Dex. She only saw glimpses of Fitz in the morning, or during lunch. She met Keefe after her failed alchemy session. He offered to take her to the healing center. After that, Keefe was always with Sophie. They visited the healing center a lot, and they chatted in detention. Sometimes even in between classes, he would come running after sensing her emotions from a mile away. But during this time, Sophie was still the ‘weird human girl’ that no one wanted to hang out with. I think its meaningful that Keefe reached out to her even during this time. However, Fitz only began talking to her again, after she destroyed him in a splotching match and became the ‘talk of the town’. Sophie could always count on Keefe from the beginning to be there for her." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Book two ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the book where Fitz sort of starts to show his true colors. It turns out our Fitzy boy has emotional problems. When his father's (Aldens') mind broke, he got so upset and tried to find someone to blame, that person being Sophie, he made her feel really bad about herself when she didn't do anything and it really wasn't her fault. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Book three ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another thing that annoys me is how scared he is sometimes, but then right after he's still a popular "Vacker". Fan Quotes: "Ok. So. I noticed this from the moment I read the scene where the cover takes place. and I am for some reason SO annoyed at this. Ok. LOOK at this cover of book three. What’s happening? Fitz is holding Sophie and he looks super heroic, Sophie looks terrified out of her wits, and there’s crystal and fire everywhere. NOW, let me tell you what the actual scene is. Sophie is holding onto a scared/yelling Fitz, a burnt and crying Oralie, and she’s supposed to have the expression Fitz has on the cover, she’s also teleporting…. So… why does the cover look so incredibly wrong?? I’m not sure but I think it has something to do with the fact that either, this is concept art (forgiveness if it is) or that they thought people would be more attracted to the cover we have, then to the cover it should be (the wrath of Shashy if it is). :D Now, not to say this book wasn’t good. It was one of the best. But if I were to rate the cover, it’d probably be on the lower end. ;3" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Book five and six ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There was nothing really wrong with four. So in five and six when there are really sweet sokeefe moments, do you notice something? Fitz is always right there clenching his fists. Not cool. He's just being cruel, Keefe is his BEST FRIEND! Just let him be! But no, he's got to make Sophie a competition. *Me leaving the room for a cool-down. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ book seven ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alright, this is where it gets really nitty gritty with Keefe and Fitz both very openly flirting with Sophie (Dex gave up and they are just friends.) But the difference is Keefe is okay letting Sophitz happen. Fitz is his best friend, he doesn't mind, but it's the opposite with Fitz, he HAS to be Sophitz no matter what. And remember that bonus seen where Alden is basically asking Keefe to stay out of the way of Sophitz? That is SO UNFAIR like, one, Alden was like Keef's DAD, so when his own dad is cruel, Alden is so kind and supporting, so of course he'll want to listen to him. I hated Alden for a long, long while after reading that. And guess what? Keefe cares so much about Alden and Fitz(his BEST FRIEND) that he actually DOES stay out of the way! He shouldn't need to if Sophitz is that strong! And then Fitz is all "I want you to be on my list." Yeah, great, but if you reread it and translate that he's basically saying,"I want you to be on my list so that the Vacker Legacy is untouched, I still get to be with you, and the whole Elven society will approve
of us." Uh, yeah, does that sound like a nice, honestly in love person? NO. But Keefe told her that he doesn't care if she is unmatchable or not, he'll still be her friend. See that? PURE KINDNESS. Go sokeefe! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ book eight ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is when Fitz is just a JERK. When Sophie found out who her mom was (Oralie) She told Fitz that she COULD NOT TELL HIM. She was CRYING and sobbing and just telling him over and over not to guess because it would make everything worse. But did Fitz listen? NO. He kept pushing her and pushing her and getting more and more upset than letting her make her own choice. I mean, it's her parents. Why should she have to tell him? But when keefe found out she had found her mom, he didn't push it at all. He understood parent problems and let her be. That is a GOOD friendship. Fan quotes: "I remember this one time in one of the books when Sophie was upset about something, fitz pushed her and pushed her to tell him but she couldn't tell him, tried to use the "we're cognates" on her, it didn't work, and then he got mad. then when sophie came to KEEFE he just said "okay" and then said "you don't have to tell me" and hugged her. THIS IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE FOR THE WHOLE SERIES" Thank you for reading! I hope you agree! Bye!
