Story in Notes and Credits I don't exactly have designs for the characters, but I imagine Johnathan having short brown hair and brown eyes, Daniel being chubby and having short-ish blond hair, And Alice having long ginger hair. If I win tho, feel free to change their appearance (heck, turn them into furries if it'd be easier to draw lol).
“I still don’t think this is a good idea…” Johnathan muttered. It was a cloudy evening in Tonopah, Nevada and Johnathan’s friends were ready to cause mischief. The trespassing group of friends consisted of Johnathan, Daniel, and Alice. They had come to graffiti the walls and scare anyone who passed by. “No one has been seen going in or out of this dump for years, we’ll be fine.” Alice hissed. “But...h-haven’t you heard the stories?!” Johnathan stuttered before Alice rolled her eyes. “What, are you chicken?” Daniel snapped. “N-no!” Johnathan stammered. Daniel mocked him before pulling a sly grin and spoke, “Alright then, brave boy. I dare you to go inside first!” Johnathan’s heart sank, he was scared out of his mind, but he couldn’t back down on a dare, especially not one from Daniel. Johnathan gulped hard before dragging his feet to the door. Far behind him Daniel yelled, “ You have to close the door behind you!” (Great,) Johnathan thought, (This just became 10 times worse.) Johnathan slowly opened the door with a creeeaak. He stepped inside on the loose, termite-ridden floorboards and closed the door behind him with another loud creak. “A-a-alright Johnathan...you’re ok… no one’s in here… you’re fine…” Jonathan whispered to himself through sharp breaths. (I Guess I should look around.) Johnathan walked toward an opening and peaked around the corner to see a hallway with a dark figure on the other end. Johnathan speed walked to the door and rustled the doorknob… to no avail. (No… no, no no, nonoNoNO!) Johnathan tried to kick open the door when he heard footsteps in the hall. The rickety door seemed to be made out of steel as Johnathan tried to kick it. As the footsteps got ever so closer, Johnathan frantically hid under a torn-up couch. He watched as a pair of feet walked near the couch, holding his mouth to cover his heavy breathing. The figure paused before walking back down the hall. Johnathan had a quiet sigh of relief and waited a few minutes before crawling out. It was dark by the time he crawled out, but his eyes had adjusted just enough to see a pair of red eyes staring at him from the other side of the room. . . . “It’s been about half an hour; shouldn’t he be out by now?” Alice muttered. “Yea, but he’s probably just crying in the corner like the BABY HE IS!” Daniel smirked. “Wait, there he is!” Alice announced as the door creaked open. “Aww.. does the baby need his diaper changed?” Daniel teased. There was no answer. Daniel walked toward the house with Alice in tow, “I know you heard m-!” Daniel was cut off to the sound of Johnathan’s voice, “No, you guys were right. Come on in, nothing here can hurt you…” Daniel and Alice exchanged a confused glance at his change in demeanor, but Daniel shrugged before they advanced closer towards the house. The two of them walked in, only to hear the door slam and Johnathan’s distorted voice, “Except for me…”
