----------------------Other Notes (cont.)---------------------- She is currently uninterested in ever having pups, this is mainly because she 1) doesn't believe her job would be able to financially support both her AND a pup, 2) she'd much rather be a cool sassy aunt™ than a mother, and 3) The first (and last) pup she had stemmed from a not-so-legal relationship. When I was fleshing out her character, I imagined that her personality/voice would sort of be somewhere between Eda from The Owl House and Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. At her market, she sells many various things including jewelry, accessories, trinkets, spiritual items, etc. Her design was made by @Grey_Do0dles -------------------------Backstory [WIP]------------------------- Cressida was born to a family of a single mother. Her mother didn't let that stop her from giving Cressida a healthy and happy childhood, though. She was taught from a young age how to fight and look out for bad people (felnines?), but she was also taught the importance of giving others a chance. Her mother d1ed of natural causes shortly after she had gotten her job as a merchant/fortune teller. She now lives in a DIY-ed covered wagon that she keeps behind her market stall(s) (check inside to see some pictures similar to what I'm imagining). About a year after her mother's de@th, she started to find company in a mysterious felnine who referred to himself as Lan. The two of them gradually got closer over the course of a few months before Lan revealed a secret to her (after a vow spell was shared between them, of course); he was not an Arcane Felnine, but a Briny. She knew it was illegal and dangerous, but she let her feelings go ahead of her better judgement and continued meeting with him. She eventually had an impure pup, and that was when she started to doubt her choices. All it took was one close call for her to break things off with Lan. They don't share any animosity for each other, nor do they love each other anymore, but they will always have bittersweet memories. The thing that saddens her the most, however, is that she knows that she may never see her pup again, as both her and Lan agreed that it would likely be safer for Lan to take him.
