Real conversation me and my friend(s) had at school Friend: So what all'd you do last night? Other Friend: Me personally, I stayed up till like 2 Friend: Oh okay cool Other OTHER Friend: I went to sleep Me: I ranted to myself about Rise!Leo's inferiority complex for about 45 minutes and then spent about 30 more thinking about it, then revised my earlier rant WITH EVIDENCE from the episodes I could remember before crying myself to sleep Friend: Other Friend: Other OTHER Friend: Me: But um. how about you Friend: Why did you cry yourself to sleep over a turtle Me: You don't? Friend: That's just really weird like. It's a TURTLE Me: AND? Friend: You cried over a freaking turtle. Why?? Me: Because I related to him Other OTHER friend: She can find similarities between the two of them, it's just like relating to a person's feelings. Also she cries like all the time how have you not noticed Friend: ..So you...relate to a turtle. Me: Yep. Friend: So you.....think that you're a turtle? Me: what Other OTHER Friend: what Me: No I don't I just relate to Leo and his personality, not the fact that he's a turtle- Friend: What about his personality? Me: Well he's funny, covers up his true feelings with humor, thinks he isn't enough, thinks he has to constantly contribute and be useful or he won't be valued and loved, puts himself down constantly, can't handle responsibility.. [continues listing out stuff] Friend: Other Friend: Other OTHER Friend: Me: Wow this got a little dark didn't it uh *coughs* anyway- and then Other Friend continued to play dumb and ask me if I thought I was a turtle for the sole purpose of annoying me. and it worked I was very annoyed. Eventually he stopped because I was telling him how completely INVALID his argument was and to stop because he was legitimately getting on my nerves. I just accidentally gave some of my darkest secrets to my friend group because I was mindlessly talking about Leo...
EDIT: **THIS IS ALL IN GOOD FUN. This did kind of hurt me a little but not as much as it may look like, me and my friends just make fun of each other as a way of affection. We do stuff like this all the time, and I didn't take this convo too personally.**
