Hello! I decided to enter @-Aces_Floofy_Paws-'s DTA for the Calm Cat! So I hope this is ok. :) There's two different parts: a shaded scene and a reference. (I just had two different ideas of what to put for my entry.) (There's some backstory things below. I named her Peaches by the way.) Just so you know, real life cats CANNOT have chocolate, so DO NOT feed them it. Name: Peaches (she/her) Age: A bit less than 2 years in human age, which is 22 cat years. (According to the internet, 2 human years in 24 cat years, and since she's less than 2 years, Peaches is about 22 in cat years.) About her: Peaches is a part time graphic designer and also a cat college student. She likes cozy spaces, where she does any of her work. She is loyal, humorous, and sweet! At the same time, she is very clumsy. (You would not believe the amount of times she's dropped her coffee on her sweaters) She also shows emotion very clearly. Things she likes: - Cool (but not too cold) weather - Sweaters and cozy fashion! - Hot drinks (specifically coffee and hot cocoa) and pastry foods - Taking care of plants - Having good friends she can rely on - Soft background music (she likes piano) - Cute pets/animals Things she dislikes: - Hot weather (she can't wear sweaters when it's too hot) - Rude cats - Harsh lights - Bad grades and education - Sudden loud sounds Quick backstory: Peaches always grew up in a calm environment, being the only kitten of two house cats. She grew up and got her own cozy apartment, where she takes care of random plants she finds. (And occasionally pets, but she often releases them.) Story A fluffy orange tabby cat's paws pressed against the carpet. She had eyes the color of bright ferns, and was wearing a couple pretty green leaves beside her left ear. She was small but still stumbled in the dark hall, still managing to reach a cozy room with a mirror. Glancing at her reflection, she saw those long tiger stripes running down from her neck to her tail, along with matching stripes under her eyes. She had a lighter muzzle, chest, legs, and tail tip. Reaching a pink-toed paw up to her ear, she straightened her lopsided pair of leaves and then leaned back to admire her fashion choice. She grabbed a coffee-colored sweater with a heart on the front and put it on, once again admiring the cozy theme her clothing style had. She left the bathroom and went into her kitchen. Though it was a small space, she had no trouble getting open the cupboards, pulling out a round, white cup, and filling it up with steaming coffee. She poured in an unnecessary amount of white sugar specks, and then went into her office. The compact office, despite its small size, was very snug, and Peaches sat down on her cushioned chair. In the office, she had two shelves: one with a fern plant and a picture, and the other with some books she kept. On her wooden desk sat a bright lamp that she turned on. Her desk had a few papers on it, along with a set of headphones and an adorable "mouse" with ears and a nose. She had a silver-colored laptop with a logo of a mouse on it. She opened up her laptop and took some confident sips of her coffee. Set with delicious coffee and great fashion, she was ready for the day. What the drawings are: 1, "Calm Cat": I didn't draw this, did 2, "Peaches Ref": Just some quick things about Peaches, and the main colors I used to draw her. (Opt. means optional, so the sweater is optional but the leaves next to her ear is necessary) 3, "Shaded Scene": This was my original idea. It took the longest to do all the shading and drawing in this one, but I like how it turned out! The lighting on Peaches is a bit incorrect, I think, but it's good enough for me. :') (If you can't read the book spines, one says "cookbook" and the other says "A Cute Cat" :3)
Credits (scroll down through them all): @-Aces_Floofy_Paws- for the DTA! It was fun entering. :3 (They did the first art thing, that wasn't me.
