Stepfather looked at me, his face 25 shades of red and purple. His hands rose up and came closer and closer towards me. At the last second I ducked. SLAP! No it didn't hit me but it did hit Lo's mom. Lo's mom attacked stepfather. "Come on let's go!" I said grabbing Drew's hand and running away. They chased us through the city. We finally lost them after 30 mins. "I think- we lost them" Drew said relieved. "I think, we are lost." I said. Drew looked up, indeed we were lost. We were standing in front of a supermarket. "Wait my dad works here, maybe we can ask him for directions?" Drew suggested. We went into the supermarket and scanned the area. Then we went into the staff lounge. "Excuse me" Drew said to a staff member. They ignored us and continued to sip their coffee. "I think they're ignoring us" I mumbled. "You think?" Drew replied sarcastically. "Let me try something..." "Umm, HELLO???? ARE YOU DEAF OR ARE YOU JUST A MEAN OLD LADY WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO IN LIFE?".Mean old lady looked at us with death in her eyes. Then she transformed into 'Happy hostess mode' "Oh hello dear! I didn't see you there" Me and Drew rolled our eyes. "How can I help you?". "Well I'm looking for someone" I started. "And who may that be?" She replied with the fakest smile I had ever seen "Steve" "Oh ho ho Steve! Your in luck! He's on his break right now. He will be upstairs in the staff lounge" "ALSO MAKE SURE TO BUY OUR PRODUCTS FOR -" Okay she may have not said that but hey! It's interesting. We rushed upstairs and then Drew stopped "Wait here" She commanded. She went in and came out 15 mins later with a map. "So we don't get 'lost' again" We laughed. We got home safely and successfully. We parted ways and I was shocked to see my things outside. They had kicked me out. I took my stuff and went to Drew's. Drew's parents were really nice; at least her mother was. I had never met her father before. It seemed that he was never home. The house wasn't that close so it took a long time to get there. I finally got to Drew's but I tripped and slipped and fell right into the door, causing me to black out.
