I need to do this- it’s the only way to pursue my dream. She thought. Palm Stepped into the cave and saw a sign, it said, welcome to the fight and poison training center. Well, there's no going back now. She walked into the cave and sat down. There were only two other dragons in the cave. She noticed a mudwing near her. He looked nervous. Well it’s worth a shot, she mumbled to herself. She got up quietly and sat next to him but not too close. “Hello,” Said Palm, “My name is Palm. I’m a sand talon”. The MudWing looked up in surprise. “H- hi” He stamerd. “My name is Marsh.” Palm Smiled. She already made a friend. Galaxy Galaxy Was very, VERY excited to go to a new learning center. All about what I’m going to be when I grow up. Galaxy was a sea and night hybrid that lived with her father, Blademaker. She was a smart, fast and dangerous girl. She knew a lot about blades and things like poisons. Her father had already taught her a lot, but She wanted to learn more. Maybe even some things her father didn’t know about! Galaxy strutted into the cave, and saw a welcoming sign. She saw three other dragonets in the cave. A sand talon, a mudwing, and a frost fur by itself in the corner, studying the other two. Its sharp dark blue eyes started looking at her when her first claw touched the floor. Smart, She thought, he’s looking for weaknesses. But you're going to have a hard time finding out about me. The Sand talon and the Mudwing were talking quietly, but she couldn’t hear what they were saying. So she walked over and sat next to the Sand dragon in a very proper way. Without even thinking about it, she started sizing her up. What were her weaknesses, how deadly her tail was, and if she would fight back. Based on how friendly she was, she was pretty sure she was just here to learn about poison. The Sand dragon squeaked, excited as Galaxy sat next to her. The Mudwing looked at her with big eyes. “I’m Palm! And this is Marsh!” The Sand dragon said as she gestured toward the Mudwing. ”hello” Marsh said. “I’m Galaxy,” She replied. “So what do you guys want to learn at this training center?” Palm asked, curious. “I mainly just want to learn about poisons and that stuff.” Marsh piped in and said, “ I want to learn how to fight better I guess. My Mom sent me here so- yea. ""Interesting,” Galaxy replied. “I’m not really sure, since I feel like I already know a lot.” Out of nowhere, a big voice boomed in the room. “Well, what do we have here? Possibly some new students?”a big dragon said. He seemed to be the boss. He was a flame feather. “Yes sir, I will go get the list with all their names. I think they are the only ones this year.let me go get the list-” a assistant answered in a rush. “Oh good. I love a new batch of newbies” I’m not a newbie! Just wait! You’ll see! “Sit in a line” the Big dragon said. Galaxy, Marsh and Palm straightened themselves and the Frost fur dragged himself next to Galaxy. “You.” the boss said. To the frost fur. “What is your name?” “Siku”, the boy grumbled. The boss asked the rest of them the same question. “Well, it’s about time I told you my name. And it is Elio. I am the boss here at the fight and poison training center.” “That's a cool name!” Palm said, most likely trying to make Elio like her. “Well, turns out since you're all in the same winglet. “Fern will guide you to your sleeping cove.” I guess Fern is the assistant. “This way,” Fern said. He was a leafwing. Palm, Marsh, Galaxy and Siku followed Fern to their sleeping cove. “Here it is. Make yourselves at home. You can add things to your cove.” Fern swept out of the room. “Home Sweet Home” Palm said. She flopped down on the cot made out of a soft bag filled with sand. Galaxy went over to a rock ledge with a soft blanket. Siku sat on a blue pillow on the floor, and Marsh went to a brown pillow.
