So, tell me, are you ready?” - Alvar Dux _____________________________________________ NAME: Dux (Latin for “guide”) TITLES: Alvar Dux, Guide Towards the Sacred Land, Professor Dux, Daylight Guide. (Alvar meaning “guardian” in German) GENDER: Male AGE: 500+ SPECIES: Feline _____________________________________________ As a guide, Dux has the tremendous burden of leading the small handful of travelers to reach the sacred city. But it’s no trouble, really. It’s his job and centuries old duty. Though not many people are courageous enough to brave the journey, much to his dismay. It would get rather lonely he he hadn’t had other things to keep himself entertained. For example, he has time to teach medicine three days a week in the Academy, and does other leisurely activities Though when he does get the chance to guide, he makes sure to lighten the burden of stress the way may bring to a traveler. In result.. he tells jokes. Albeit not that good for many people, he finds them hilarious. But, if one doesn’t want to hear his jokes, it’s alright. He’s there to listen to vents if needed. As long as the traveler is comfortable. If someone decides to traverse the land, Dux will sense it and drop whatever it is he’s doing to see them through. His glowing features and lantern that will continuously burn light the way through the darkness of the forest. That, and— Oh..! Ah.. there is more to the story, but why don’t you find out later?
