November 18, 2023 @ 10:10 AM CST: Oh my goodness, this project just seemed to blow up in popularity all of a sudden! Thanks to everyone who’s been remixing! :) Notice: This project is not yet finished, but I kinda wanted to get it shared anyway, since it is mostly complete now. Don’t worry, you are free to use my remixable ceiling fan template, even though it’s not yet finished. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you’re using the reverse pull chain sprite as a reverse control when remixing, Please do NOT delete the “Reverse toggle” sprite, because even if it won’t be interacted with in your project, it still plays a role in setting the value of a variable that determines which direction your fan rotates. So if the “Reverse toggle” Sprite is deleted, the reverse function will not work at all, even if this sprite is not being used in your remix! (This may be changed in a future update.) ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please read the entire "Notes and Credits" section of this project if you haven't already. Any important information that follows will be marked with ⚠️. Remix this and create your own interactive ceiling fan project! Compare to @bluemaster58’s remixable ceiling fan template and see which of our two templates is better. This template includes: -Motorset templates for up to 10 blades -Reversible motor direction -Realistic motor acceleration according to current speed -Pull chain animation -Cane and wood grain blades -And much, much more! The default color of the background is gray to make it pleasant for both dark and light mode (if your browser is equipped with Scratch adons) but you can change it to any color you want (if you’d like). ⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you’re new here, please read the comments in the “code” section of all sprites (including stage). I will be adding more parts and making some improvements in future versions of this project. If you have any suggestions of anything you would like me to add or fix with this template, please let me know in the comments of this project, or on my profile! ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please give credit to me if remixed. No need to credit @FAN-tabulous, since all coding was done by me. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Some sprites in this project are used as variables, and may stop your project from working properly if any of the costumes, or the sprites themselves, are deleted or renamed. This is because the costume name determines the string or value of the sprite variable(s). ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Look for pull chain sounds at these 2 places: ⚠️ IMPORTANT: In case you notice big invisible boxes on things, it's to help certain costumes appear properly on mobile devices. (e.g. 2018 Apple iPad Pro) Update log: -Version Beta 1.0 (pre-1.0) (Apr. 22, 2023 @ 5:36 PM CDT): Initial public release -Version Beta 1.01 (pre-1.0) (May 2, 2023 @ 5:05 PM CDT): Minor bug fix - The fan will now actually reverse direction when the reverse pull chain sprite is interacted with.
