Use the mouse to play. If you touch the ball on the extremes (the different colours) of the paddle, you obtain angles of 45 and 75 degrees. A slight move of the paddle when touching the ball gives an angle of 10. Hitting the paddle without moving yields an angle of 0 degrees.
