Mario was going on a walk until he encounters an enemy on his path. When Mario tries to fight the enemy, he finds out that his sword has gone missing. He tries to get his cards he used in his Paper Mario adventures, but those were missing too, being replaced by Uno cards. With no other choice, Mario uses the power of the newfound Uno cards to defeat his enemies. This game is a bit of an outlier, because this game is the first game in the series to be based off of a physical game, rather than a video game.
