Most of the gameplay will involve reading from the screen; you will only need to use your mouse to play this game. - Click the text box (not the text itself) to advance dialogue - Click the Court Record button to access evidence and profiles related to the case; click anywhere on the screen to switch between pages - Use the yellow arrows to move between pieces of testimony during a cross-examination - Click the "Press" button to press on a certain statement and gain more information about it - Click the "Present" button and select something from the Court Record to point out a contradiction between evidence and the witness's testimony - If you get stuck on a certain cross-examination, see inside the project and look at the ANSWERS sprite; however, try your best to figure it out before you use the walkthrough!
A project inspired by Ace Attorney I worked on during the initial COVID lockdowns in 2020. Never got around to finishing it but I remembered this existed earlier today and figured it was worth sharing. Link to the FULL SCRIPT is located inside the project in the "ANSWERS" sprite.
