the engineer's gun has a retractable blade/bayonet, the blade is sharp on all sides, so it can be used for stabbing AND slashing, it's also made out of plasma, so it can cut though lots of organic things, it is also good for slicing bread, as the heat from the blade automatically toasts the bread, so it's good for people who like toast, the blade is also hotter and stronger if the gun has overheated from shooting
