This story is available on my blog! theliterarycove~blogspot~com (replace ~ with .) --- There are unspoken words that pass between us. Words too dangerous to be uttered. I know that, I've always know that. But I wish things were different--that we could build up enough courage just to talk. But that's dangerous. Feelings could be hurt, hearts could be broken. You say not to mind the danger, that it won't always be there. But I know different. Our home belongs to the enemy, danger is all around. We choose to walk that thin tight rope everyday, hundreds of feet above the ground. One choice, one mistake could be the difference between life and death. No choice is ever small, and I've had to learn that the difficult way. We willingly walk that line everyday. You say it's the only choice--I beg to differ. There is always another path, you may just be too blind to see it. I keep on reminding you that, but you just whisk the words away. You'd rather rely on your own foolishness than my wisdom. I wish you would stop and take time to listen to the unspoken words. They are teeming with wisdom, if only you would heed to their council. I am truly sorry that our world is like this. But there is nothing that either you nor I can do. We have nowhere to run. But I truly believe that the unspoken words will once again be spoken. There is a time and a place for everything, and that time is coming soon. I say this not only for your benefit, but for mine. Things will change, just wait, and listen. Your time is near, and it is then that the unspoken words will again spoken.
