I have been playing some Doom recently I have played: -Doom 1993 (the original) -Doom II -Doom 64 -Doom 3 -Doom Eternal -and Brutal Doom (a mod of the original Doom games, it's essentially Doom Eternal combined with Doom 1993/Doom II) here is what I have to say about them: 1993: really fun, really dang good for it's time, most of the levels are pretty good, some kinda suck, the bosses are fun too 9/10 II: also really fun, I am struggling to get past the city levels, but it's still fun, the new demons are cool too 8.5/10 64: fun, but some levels are too puzzling, confusing or downright terrible, sucks that there isn't any music either, that is one of the best parts of some doom games 7/10 3: kinda fun, it's lack of music and weaker gameplay kinda makes it feel less like a doom game, and you are also really slow and can die from falling like, 1 meter 6/10 Eternal: really dang fun, the graphics are great, the gameplay was fun, the bosses were cool, but the game was a bit short (13 levels in the campaign), still great, the super shotgun is cooler than ever too, the meat hook made using it so much better 9/10 Brutal: probably the best Doom mod I have played, the new guns are cool, the reworked berserk pack is cool, the reworked enemies are cool, the new enemies are cool, it's all really fun I should probably play Doom 2016 soon
