All code by me, press 'see inside' for proof. Instructions: - You can drag points on the rope by holding down left click on them. - You can create waves on the rope by wagging one side up and down, or even in the middle. - You can change the length of the rope by changing the variable in the top left of the screen and pressing the green flag again. - If you have auto-stiffness on one, it will automatically set the stiffness of the rope based on the length of it, but this can be changed by turning off auto-stiffness so that you can change the stiffness of the rope manually. Warning: - If you raise the stiffness too high above the length of the rope, it will break. This is because it is an impossible value as a rope can not be infinitely stiff. Hooke's law: F = -kx About: This rope physics simulator uses hooke's law to connect points in a string as if they were connected by springs. This means that they never disconnect and also it means that you can apply separate masses and velocities to each point on the string, meaning you can simulate the physics of a rope.
