New game! Scroll down for update log (and comment bugs!) You are just a normal cube-shaped guy living in a fantasy world who's run into quite a series of unfortunate events (more info inside project) and now you must collect items in the forest for a witch every 10 seconds, or you die. This would be extremely easy, if it wasn't for the random curses affecting you every few seconds that are made to make the game more difficult. In the menu, click the character to change their color. In PC mode, use the arrow keys to move around and collect potion ingredients. (money doesn't count as ingredients). In mobile, press the different sides of the screen to go every which way. That's pretty much it, how long can you survive? Update log: 4/09/23: Shared game 5/02/23: Updated high score and score counter so I'm no longer using someone else's code, added 2 new curses, added new area where the shop is going to be, and organized the code + added some really small stuff like making the player faster normally and tinkering with other curses to be easier 5/18/23: Made art for the shop, made the coin sprites separate from the ingredient sprites, added a money system (gold = $3, silver = $2, bronze = $1) haven't found a way to format everything yet though. Also added music for the menu, acceleration for the player to make movement better, and then tweaked some curses to be harder in turn to make up for that. Updated thumbnail! (apparently, the last one wasn't eye-catching enough?) 2/18/2025: Made mobile work hopefully, though not well (yeah I know, two years has not made me less dumb lol), added a way for me to test bugs, edited the art and the menu, added a new item
Let us now take a moment to pray that this update has not created a serious bug I missed while playtesting....... These are just random notes about the game: (Scroll down for credits) -There are 10 curses you can fall under presently, some more difficult to have than others. I would of course add more, but all in due time and when I have more ideas -Things I started to add, but didn't complete and I'm going to add in the future: A store to buy upgrades using coins, difficulty modes, an accessory changer, and different endings instead of making this game take an infinite amount of time. You see I added a rough day/night system, yeah that's going to be related to endings :D -I'm taking any and all suggestions in the comments. Suggest new curses, ways to polish, fitting music because I can't find any- -Also a small thing...It wasn't my choice to make the first word in the title all uppercase, I'm trying to break that habit. But WHY does uppercase i and lowercase L look EXACTLY the same? I had no choice. -The username sensing is just so it can tell when I'M playing the game and give me a custom hat :3 Now, credits: Sound effects from the sprite library Music from Royalty Free music sites for some great feedback and suggestions (and compliments) which led me to implement player velocity All art and code by me Enjoy!
