“Pizza again?” Hyun-Woo complained. He wasn’t going to eat it anyway. “Yeah, yeah, thanks, whatever.” The lunch lady eyed him. “Boy! If you don’t have anything kind to say, don’t say it!” She snapped. I watched Hyun-Woo walk to the trash can and throw his food away. I sat down next to Zach and Zoe. “Heyyy!” Zoe beamed. Zach waved. Sullivan flew over to us, making the table shake. “Can you not?” Zach snapped. Sullivan shrugged. “Sullivan!” Moblit screamed. Sullivan raised his hand, and Moblit came rushing over to us. Moblit wrapped both his arms around Sullivan, squeezing him. Simona politely walked over to our crowded lunch table. The table consisted of me, Simona, Sullivan, Annie, Moblit, Zach, Tigress, Zoe, and Hyun-woo. “Hi Aarav,” She said. At that moment, the whole lunchroom went silent. No. The whole school. The kids from other tables looked still. Zach then started screaming at the top of his lungs, britishly. “Shush, Zach,” Simona snapped. He, obediently, shut his mouth. Simona glanced around. “Hm.” “What’s happening?” Hyun-Woo asked, shuddering. I shrugged. The lights flickered. Suddenly, the people started chatting again. “What just happened?” Sullivan asked. “Who knows,” Tigress laughed. Annie patted her friend on the back. “Yeah, who does know?” She repeated. Chapter 4 “Why did you guys do that!” I snap. Koshyo shrugged. Kushim stepped forward. “She stole it from me!” He protested. “Really? Simona, why couldn’t you have been cooperative?” Cresenting hissed. “Sorry Sir!” I said quickly. “Well, it’s over now. You three- Get back to work on the new core,” Cresenting responded, walking away. “Now you two have me in trouble!” I shout. Kushim crosses his arms, walking away. “Well, I’m going to go visit the human.” Kushim always did that. He said he went to visit to spy, but, clearly, he was lying. Bune walked over to us. “Hiiiii guys~,” He yawned. He flicked an ear. “Put on deodorant,” Kushim and I said in unison. Bune groaned, going back into his room. “You guys gonna help?” Koshyo hissed. Kushim whispered something under his breath, shoving Koshyo onto the ground. I glanced at the core. It looked perfect- A great replica of the planet that we’d left the traitors to die on- Rubra. Perfect. Soon, we’d have control of the whole universe.
