You are the leader of a civilization, building your glorious city on what... a volcano?!? As night approaches, expand your empire, purchase important upgrades, rebuild those weaks and RESEARCH - can you prevent the volcano from erupting and stop the spew? -DIRECTORY- In Stop The Spew, you are building a civilization on an active volcano - one which is in the verge of exploding! Lava is slowly creeping up the volcano, and if it get's to the top, your civilization gets ruined. Hover your mouse over the volcano and houses to find different house plots and, and look at their price. Click to buy one. Houses will generate income for your city, which you can use to buy upgrades. -UPGRADES- On the bottom of the screen, you will find four upgrades. The first upgrade's base price is $7 and looks like a deformed snowflake. Click on it to buy. This upgrade will temporarily freeze the lava from rising, while your city continues to generate income. You may still purchase upgrades while the freeze is activated. The second upgrade pours water on the volcano, lowering the lava. This upgrades gets more and more expensive and is arguably the most useful. The third is a research upgrade. It is an expensive one time upgrade. This one unlocks the research station (invisible), which do research in the background. Once finish, you will be able to build more buildings and unlock more tiers of those buildings. The last one is a helicopter upgrade. Buying it will spawn a helicopter that flies above the volcano, pouring water on it as it passes. You may have a max of 5 helicopters. At the end of your game, your timer survived will pop up. House ($10) income - $2 per 3sec ($0.66/sec) - (Unlock at research level 1) Level 2 ($20+Lv1) income - $2 per 2sec ($1/sec) - (Unlock at research level 2) Level 3 ($100+Lv2) income - $8 per 2sec ($4/sec) Bank ($25) income. - $4 per 3.5 sec ($1.14/sec) (Unlock at research level 1) City Hall ($50) income. - $8 per 4.5 sec ($1.77/sec) TIPS: -There Freeze and Rainfall upgrade increase in price. -The lava rises faster and faster. (There are alerms in which it rise SUPER quick!) -The best strategy is to buy a bunch of Houses and Banks at the start. -Buy the research upgrade - they take a long time to become effective.
