Enjoy:D “If you all would like, you can go back into the circus and have fun…It will not be a problem.” Ezra smiled, though he seemed to not want to be conversing with anyone. “Thank you Ezra!” Syris chimed. He looked down, his ears red. Yuna let out a small laugh, “he’s a little shy, don’t mind it.” She had a thoughtful look on her face. “That is the most I have heard him talk at one time. So, thank you I suppose.” Yuna walked happily into the circus. Kaiden and Mari followed behind, like usual. Ezra went over and told the two he was with something then went into the circus as well. The ones he spoke to went the other way, it was midday by then, Eli was with Ezra, leaving me to walk through the circus on my own. It didn't really bother me though, sometimes it’s nice to get a little peace and quiet. As I walked there were a few things going through my mind. I thought of the others, and their lives before all of this, they were just people. People with normal lives, interrupted by this pestilence of a world. Yuna was here with her family, Zane and Syris were with theirs, it’s not fair. I had stopped walking by then, in front of me were a few tents. There was a sign it read: gift shops, discounts for family members. I decided to go inside one, there were dresses and suits on display. Probably mock outfits of the performers, I looked closer to see prices on the clothing. They were all priced to be thirty dollars, over the past three years we’ve stopped in towns and completed random jobs. They pay us, though money more or less has no value anymore. I had about four hundred dollars. I left the money I had to on a counter and took seven of the outfits. I grabbed a bag and shoved the clothing inside, then I went back to our camp and put the bag in my tent. “Knock knock, may we come in?” To my surprise Mari and Kaiden were at the door. I nodded, “of course!” They came in and sat down. “What did you two need?” I asked. Mari’s usually cheery face was solemn. “Yuna is thinking of staying here, with her brother.” She stopped, then took a breath and continued. “I don’t know what her decision will be yet, she said she will tell us by nightfall.” I looked at Mari and sighed, “thanks for letting me know.” Mari nodded and stood up to leave, Kaiden waved as he walked away. Some time had passed and I decided to go back into the circus, I saw Ezra and went over to him. “Hey, Ezra, can I ask you a question.” Ezra looked at me and nodded. “Did you, by chance, clear the circus and woods of any monsters?” Ezra seemed reluctant to answer but did, “we have been clearing these woods for a long time. Only recently it has been entirely safe. I am trying to make the circus and its surroundings a sort of..safe haven for people.” He sighed, and looked down. “May I ask a favor of you?”
