HM. This show is a clown car and I am in shotgun screaming. Anyway yeah I had to make a rant before the finale because these last 2 eps have been bonkers and I wouldn't have been able to fit all 3 eps in 1 project. Spoilers up to the finale for s3 :0 I'm not ready for the finale ------ Episode 22- ◦ JACK BLACK?! LIZZO????? CHRISTOPHER LLOYD???? HUH???????? I LOVE THIS ◦ I really love the buddy cop-noir thing they have going on this episode askldjfskl it's so cheesy ◦ Din walking into a droid bar: I don't think they get much of us around here Me: no kidding?? a DROID bar huh ◦ Din waving in front of the battle droids. Din kicking them. Each kick being more violent. Din going "why should I stop? huh? is this annoying them?". Din kicking the battle droid to the ground. The droid getting back up and backhanding him. The echo of the THUNK because there were no thoughts going on in Din's head. Din sliding across the floor and just lying there. Din getting up and SPRINTING after that droid like his life depended on it. Din crashing through the window and tackling the droid to the ground. (I'm really normal about Din Djarin btw) (I was crying that entire scene it was so funny) ◦ Grogu getting knighted by Lizzo for being the cutest little guy was something I never thought would be real. But it is. And I love it. ◦ Also Jack Black and Lizzo slayed. Idc what other people are saying, the two of them were so funny ◦ The Bo vs Axe fight was cool. I was like "yeah beat the heck out of each other!" also mm I have mixed feelings about Din giving Bo the Dakrsaber. ◦ On one hand, Din never wanted it to begin with, and he isn't really a leader type. But on the other, Bo has failed at retaking Mandalor so many times. AND instead of Din just being there the entire season, giving him an arc where he learned to accept and grow into the Mand'alor role would have worked much better. But ehh this works I guess *sigh* Episode 23- ◦ THRAWN MENTION I AM GOING INSANE!!!!!! YESSS GIVE ME THE CREEPY BLUE GUY GIVE HIM TO MEEEE ◦ WAHAHA GROGU PILOTING IG-12 IS SO FUNNY. THIS SHOW IS A COMEDY. ◦ Din being a tired dad the beginning is so good omg. Grogu's "first word" being him repeatedly going "no. no. no. no. yes. yes. yesyesyeyesyseyseysyes" was a fantastic writing decision. Poor Din, his son is such a menace lmao ◦ And then Grogu stealing the food I can't aksfksjf ◦ ok but Din needs to stop putting Grogu in situations. "He's too young to operate heavy machinery" 20 minutes later, Din is bringing Grogu to a warzone. Lmao ◦ I'm glad we got a scene with just the two of them being the duo we watch the show for <3 haven't gotten a lot of that this season ◦ Paz and Axe playing chess together was also funny. Paz flipping the game board. And then they knife fight. So glad to see accurate board game playing representation in media these days. Grogu settling the fight asldkdks ◦ "i didn't teach him that" please can we keep talking about Luke Skywalker and how Grogu trained with him for apparently 2 years??? Hey Mando crew?? Are you going to ever refer back to s2 of Mando again???? ◦ anyway speaking of Paz, rip king, your poor kid is having an even rougher week now- but man the way he went down- that was BRUTAL- and also notice the parallel of this ending the penultimate of this season like Kuill dying in the penultimate of s1 (they played the same song in the credits too) so yeah. that was sad. ◦ The Mandalorians are hhhh so dumb. "The imperials are retreating!" They had no reason to first of all, and they are retreating through the very obviously imperial-stylized halls. Most of you lived on this planet, y'all know you didn't have that stuff. and then oH nO it'S aN aMbUsH ◦ holy moly Din was fighting for is life and Grogu having to watch sheeeesh. But this was another parallel to Grogu getting captured by Moff Gideon in s2 while Din was pretty much helpless. ◦ Moff Gideon has got the driiiip. Where tf are they picking up all that beskar though? Is it growing on fricking trees? Why wouldn't they have continued using it for the first order stuff?? smh ◦ istg if Gideon takes Din's helmet off I'm gonna force my way into the show and beat him up. They better not. Actually don't even lay a finger on Din please he has a son he needs to take care of. Leave him alone. What did he ever do to you? ◦ ARE THEY EVER GOING TO MENTION SATINE??? EVER???????? ◦Oh I'm jumping on the Armorer is sus train. She jumped ship before they were ambushed and this ep was called "The Spies" plural ◦ once again eugh please I don't want them to push Dinbo on us. There was that one scene. please no thanks. I'm sorry if you ship it, I just can't aksjdk. well next week's the finale. These last 2 eps have been really good imo, so things are looking up. Overall, s3 has been pretty mid so I hope the finale is awesome. Please. For my sake. I don't know if I can continue convincing myself that I'm enjoying this show and having a lot of fun see ya next week for the finale :D -Trexi
