Everything was pitch black. A sliver of light shone down onto my face. I heard a crack, and suddenly it was all bright. I saw a brightly colored face. I let out a soft squeak, and then curled up into a ball, hoping to stay in my egg, just a little longer. ''I'll name you Cactusflower.'' the light green dragon said, looking down at me. Suddenly, another dragon barged in. His scales were a mix of yellow and a dusty grey. ''RUN!'' he commanded. ''THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT US! THEY ARE RUNNING HERE NOW!'' The green dragon picked me up and help me close to her chest. ''I will keep her safe, Gila. Trust me.'' the light green female dragon said, touching the other dragons arm. ''I'll miss you.'' She sprinted out the door, but then paused, and took one look back at the other dragon. She whipped her head back and began to jog. She picked up her pace, but went too fast. I fell. Now, all I could do was run. The trees ripped at my wings. I jumped away from the branch. I saw a red liquid trickling down my leg. My wings were bl33ding. I kept running. I tripped over a rock. My claw got stuck in between two vines. It wrapped around me, tightly. The more I struggled to get out, the tighter it would get. It was no use. I was stuck for good. I closed my eyes and thought "Everything is hopeless, I might as well just di3 here." But then, I heard something. ''Hey there, little one...'' A voice murmured. ''Are you alright?'' They cut the vines that were trapping me, and then picked me up. ''My name is Amaryllis, and this is Frey.'' They pointed to a small green dragon, with pink circles around its eyes. Frey's scales reminded me of the dragon I saw when I hatched. She looked back at me with care in their eyes. Maybe everything wasn't hopeless after all. Frey and Amaryllis took care of me ever since, and I thought they were my parents, as I had forgotten about mine. But, one day, Amaryllis sat me down for a talk. ''Cactusflower,'' she sighed ''There's something you need to know.'' {to be continued... (dun dun dun!)}
3- Cactusflower Very scarred Mutated in an interesting way- the sandwing venom mixed with rainwing acid and created an entirely new poison that is excreted out of both their fangs and barb. It basically burns away at you from the inside loll I labeled em venom scars but they can be whatever Rain/Sand hybrid
