Here is an excerpt from one of the stories I've written: Josh’s uncle had always told him the same bedtime story when he was little, the story of the Seven Seers. In the story, two realities existed, the logical reality, and the magical reality. Josh’s uncle always started the story by explaining the in-between world. The in-between world is where the two realities overlapped. Rules and possibilities from both realities thrived here, yet it was almost unreachable. The only way to reach it was when, once every five years, both realities would align perfectly. When they aligned passage straight through the in-between world would reveal, and allow everything in one reality to cross over to the other. Or in most cases, get stuck in the in-between world. According to the story, almost no one knew of the in-between world or that other realities existed beyond their own, and the ones that did became seers. Amongst their other powers, seers could see the future. Or at least some possible futures, and when you see futures from two realities almost anything could happen.
