Use the left and right arrow keys (or a and d) to turn. Use the up arrow (or w) to speed up. The down arrow gives you a short speed boost, if your ship is ready. The dot in the bottom left corner indicates if a speed boost is available. (Green means ready.) Dodge the asteroids.
