This is a slightly more realistic way to draw horses. At first I didn't use guidelines -- I just drew from what I knew! Then a friend encouraged me to use guidelines and it really helps! You can use this technique to not only draw much more realistic horses, but you can draw the whole body and almost anything else! If you don't use guidelines I encourage you to try.
