Pronouns: He/They About: Their name is Cas the cat, and they're a new neighbor in welcome home. They're a librarian and Café worker who aspires to be a poet and writer of children's books, and they love spending time outside writing in the sun watching the other neighbors go about their day from afar. They frequently visit Eddie's post office to have him send letters to their friends, but they hardly speak much at first as they are tired and have a bit of anxiety with being new. They love sitting under a tree and occasionally when they spot Wally lurking or through Home's windows- they will wave, as he was the first to greet them and show them around when they first came, but hardly spoke since. They hoped to get to know him as well as the other residents better someday, and in the the show's recovered scripts their obvious focus in it was always building courage and self confidence. Later when they started to talk to others more, they would love to spend time with Wally or watch him paint, and they even would make illustrations and little stories together as a way to spend time with one another. Cas likes this, as they don't need to speak much to express themselves in the things they make together. They have a hard time with finding the right words in speech, and it's easier for them to express themselves on a page. Eddie also starts inviting them for coffee and crafts with Frank, and they hang out and talk about writing, crafts, or other things. --- Some more darker/analog facts about them to go with the other stuff is sometimes in recovered sketches if you mess with the settings enough on pictures, you can find Cas lurking in the background of some, their eyes having an odd knowing look to them, looking as if they wanted to approach and say something but never do. You also can find supposed 'love' poems scattered throughout Welcome home, and if you inspect the seemingly normal poems closer, they always seemed to be pointing to something they might know. Things like "Wish to be heard. Be seen. Do you see me? I see you. I wish I could tell you." They seem to know more than they seem, and just like Wally, they seem very conscious of their surroundings, but more so because they're just aware due to their anxiety. They also seem to have a higher peak of feeling for bad things happening due to their past- though its not explained in detail, all that's said is they didn't have the greatest time in the city they came from once. Although, it may be the reason they're so anxious and self conscious. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
