Simulated evolution, there are 3 types of creature: Herbivores feed on plant matter Carnivores feed on meat and other animals Detrivores feed on waste material Creatures are uniquely created each playthrough, with size, speed, lifespan, reproductive speed and defense all causing differences. Color and pattern only serve to distinguish species. Each generation, species slightly mutate and better adapted organisms will thrive. This is a very early concept, and not complete, the ecosystems usually collapse after a couple generations, I am still trying to fix this, suggestions would be appreciated :)
I created this during my biology course and it has been sitting in my unshared tab for a while so I figured I may as well release it, small scale ecosystems are very entertaining to me so maybe someone else will find this entertaining to. Thanks
