(the lifesaver + the incidet) ______ ______ ______ The following are real events that happened to me. I'll use the name Lilly for me and the name Carly for my sister. Story 1: the lifesaver My dad, traveling in Asia, wasn't able to help us that day. My mom, Carly and I were traveling in Toronto, Canada at the airport, ready to go back. I was five. My sister, seven. My sister was sucking on a lifesaver until there was a funny gulping noise and she looked up, eyes wide. "What's wrong, Carly?" Asked my mom, slightly anxious. "...it's stuck," said my sister "In my throat." My mother, instantly started panicking and stopped the stroller I was in. She made my sister open her mouth but couldnt see anything. "Can you still breathe?" My mom asked Carly, and she nodded. "Come on," said my mom, "let's find someone who can help to us." In the end, a coffee lady told Carly to drink hot water to make the lifesaver dissolve. From then on, I learned it was, indeed, a lifesaver. Story 2: the incident "Attention all students," the speaker crackled softly. "Please stay in your current classrooms. Teachers, please don't let your student exit the classrooms. Medical team, report to the cafeteria. I report, come to the cafeteria." "What's going on?" Demands a boy. The teacher, a middle aged women looked slightly alarmed but brushed it off. "I'm sure it's nothing," she told everyone, but didn't look so sure. I think these days, people get scared of medical emergencies in our school because last year, this girl Jade had a medical emergency thing and we all had to turn around as they wheeled her onto an ambulance. She died a little after that. It's something I'll never forget. We were only eleven and some twelve then. Kids crying as they ran over to school counselors. Teachers looking shocked. Thirty minutes later, the loudspeaker came on again. "thank you for your patience. The situation has been resolved." Everyone let out a sigh of relief. Later, I learned that some kid had thrown up buckets after running the mile, right outside the cafeteria. Months later, another medical emergency happened. Someone had gotten an allergic reaction to peanut butter. And then no more. ————♡———— ✎ anyways, that's it for today. leave questions + comments below. please keep in mind not to steal my thumbnails, story, ideas, or anything else without asking. even if you give credit, asking is still the best way to go. thank you! :D . see you next time! ————♡———— ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ˚✩ ⋆。˚ ✩ ┊ ┊ ┊ ┊ ✩ ⋆。˚ ┊ ┊ ┊ ✫♡ ┊ ┊ ✩⋆。˚ ┊ ⊹ ✯⋆。 ✯⋆ ⋆
