Sageclaw shouldered her way through the bracken wall the rest of the camp meowing fair wells. sageclaw didn't have the Halfmoon meeting on her mind, the story that shadowspot had told was terrifying. a cat completely made of smoke, with bright red gleaming eyes. the cold night air ruffled her pelt as she walked alone through the forrest. what if weirdclan got attacked while she was gone?... no no... she had firepaw to take care of them, firepaw was an amazing apprentice, she was going to keep the camp safe. she fluffed out her sleek cream colored pelt and padded up the slope to the moonpool, she stoped as she smelt something- something familiar... she whiped around to notice shadowspot following her, he froze. sageclaw was unable to make out his expression in the darkness but she could tell he was startled. "What are you doing here?! This meeting is for medicine cats only!" she hissed under her breath, her normal easygoing sarcastic tone out of her voice. She was more stressed by the Shadowcat threat than anything. Shadowpot managed to stutter out "I- I needed to know if there was any news with Shadowcat." sageclaw let her pelt lie flat "stay here, I'll stay late in the clearing and we can discuss it AFTER, the meeting." she would turn around and pad up the slope, nodding her head as she scented jayfeather, shadowsight, alderheart, and a few other medicine cats scents where mixed with eachother so she couldent exactly make it out. as she steped up the slope jayfeather, his normal grumpy self growle at her "finally your here sageclaw, now we can start this meeting." sageclaw shuffled her paws, she was so much more inexperienced comepared to these cats, having been a kittypet before a clan cat. "actualy I, ehm, well I have some news." Alderheart pricked up his ears curiously "what do you have to tell us?" sageclaw flicked ehr tail as all of the cats gazes turned to her, and she let out a deep breath before quickly meowing "our deputy shadowspot has had a dream of a scary cat made out of smoke with red eyes that is capable of crushing all of the clans that has come to destroy weirdclan to showcase its strength and I dont know what to do" mothwing perked up "I... wasnt expecting that, not at all." jayfeather let out an exasperated sigh "it was just a mousebrained dream, all of you... weirdclan, or whatever you call yourself cats have bee's in your Brain." sageclaw growled "JAYFEATHER weirdclan is a real clan like it or not! we are the clan that has fixed all of YOUR mistakes and have a major threat haunting us SO IF YOU COULD TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY THAT WOULD BE APPRECIATED!" before she knew it she was practically yowling. this shadowcat threat had her on a rollercoaster of emotions. sageclaw heard a voice in her head and stopped for a second "let me in sageclaw, I can show these cats that weirdclan isnt to be messed with" sageclaw shook her head "wh-" she flicked her tail and gazed at the cats infront of her. mistytooth padded up to her side and used her tailtip to smooth sageclaws pelt "sageclaw its fine, jayfeather just doesent know how to control his tongue. it must have a mind of its own" she snorted at jayfeather and he gave a huff of retort "Im sure starclan will come to talk to you about starclan" she meowed calmingly sageclaw nodded "lets go then." jayfeather scoffed angrily "Finally!" the cats all padded up the slope and into the moonpool hollow, sageclaw only just managing to flick a glance back at shadowspots hiding spot. hopefully shadow cat would come and talk to her about this.
